Updates: Weapons Audio and Testing - Posted on: 6/24/2016   [Friction]

Tonight, I got the weapons audio working in multiplayer mode. So, when a player fires their weapon, the other player will hear it!

I need to do the same with the engine/acceleration audio, but that's a constant input, so it would waste a lot of valuable bandwidth - I'll have to come up with a clever solution for that.

I did more testing using my old pc and the tests were good, with a few exceptions... If the player connection is lost or too slow, they'll be completely disconnected and lose all progress in their game. It would be preferable to have some way of saving that players info and allow them to easily rejoin to game. So, that's something else to research.
If the server is running slow, there is a lot of anomalies and lag, which is actually pretty common for online games, but worth mentioning.

Despite the various problems and frustrations, progress has been good.
