New Game Prototype - Posted on: 11/29/2016   [HyperFast]



The experiments I've been working on are starting to look like a real game.

A racing game like this poses a few programming challenges for me. How do I know when the player has gone off course or how to reset the player with the correct rotation?...

Well, I came up with a check-point system where invisible markers are plotted along the race path. It's working surprisingly well. I need to think of a clever name for the game and lots of work to do on the interface and options. At this pace, I should be able to release a demo soon though!
