AI? - Posted on: 11/23/2019   [Uncategorized]

I'm seeing how difficult it would be to make a computer player...

I know how to do some basic programming. A couple aspects are going well so far, like following and targeting the player, and avoiding obstacles.

It gets complicated when you start think of other aspects, like how will the AI react when its low on health, or what weapon will it choose, what routes will it take?

It might be a waste of time for me, because even if I succeed in the basics, would it be any fun? I think the best AI is the kind that learns from playing and keeps challenging the player, but I don't know how to do any of that.

Just experimenting right now.
