I'm experimenting with creating my own grass for Unity...

I've yet to find a good grass solution for Unity that works for me. So, I'm trying to make my own. I suspect there is some fancy graphics magic to do this correctly, but interestingly, the solutions I've come across so far are just using meshes. So, I did the same thing using Unity's LOD component, and it works surprisingly well. However, at the highest quality settings, its not very efficient, so I'll still be looking for better solutions.
