While working on my custom shaders, I had the urge to make a fishing game...

This is another big challenge for me because it involves several mechanics I've never made or worked with before. I started with the fishing-pole and fishing-line mechanics... experimenting with solutions for ropes and trying to figure out how to combine real physics with fake/faux physics....

Progress has been very frustrating but good. I've run into many bugs and annoyances... triggers interacting with colliders, animations being reversed, and just general undesired or unexpected behavior.

Currently, I'm just trying to make sure the concept works and is within my ability. I have a working fishing pole, first person controls, and boat controls. Next step is to finish the fish-catching mechanic, then I can start thinking more about the overall game experience!
