Cloud shadows...

I had a clever idea to use a projector to render cloud shadows into the scene. |
It works really well aside from a couple problems.... It appears there's no good way to achieve this affect - I tried every possible "Blend mode" and alpha options. So its actually a reversed effect, the shadows are holes in the projection, so its reversed, but not really apparent.
The other problem is, projectors don't affect terrain grass - so the grass basically covers the effect and it doesn't look as good as it should.
Hope I can figure this out - I'm adding a nice little collection of effects for my games!
